We've recently developed a real estate keyword tool that our real estate agent clients may be interested in. It's completely free, and should help you advance your search engine optimization efforts.
Here's how it works:
- Select your state.
We started off with only U.S. states, but had some requests for U.S. Territories. While we were at it, we added support for Canadian provinces and territories as well. - Enter your service areas.
Simply type in your county and a few surrounding cities. - Check off the keywords that apply to your business.
For instance, if you're in a rural area, you'll want to check off the "Land" keywords. You probably won't need to check off the "Condo" keywords. - Submit your keywords.
Submit your keywords at the bottom of the page, and bingo...you'll be given a list of all the popular variations of your keywords for SEO purposes. So if you selected California and Los Angeles, along with the Real Estate keyword, you'll get a list of keywords such as:
- california real estate
- ca real estate
- los angeles california real estate
- los angeles ca real estate
- los angeles real estate
- real estate in los angeles california
- real estate in los angeles ca
- etc.
It makes your initial keyword research a no-brainer. And on top of it all, you'll get a link to some really good SEO software to download and paste your new keywords into. You'll be able to check your rankings for every single one of your new keywords to see how you are doing on Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and virtually any other search engine in the world.
